Could those of you having errors please try clearing your browser cookies and cache, restarting your browsers, and attempting the process again to see if that helps at all? We've just made some modifications that may require a cache/cookie clear to be 100% certain that cached pages are not being used.

Thanks!

Thanks, guys. Glad it's working for you.

If any of you continue to encounter issues, could you please specify at which stage of the process the error occurs for you so we can look into that better?

Thanks!

Chilikebab, for payment rejections, you will need to contact us via the Billing department as there can be many reasons for a payment to be rejected or declined on either side. You can find the contact information here: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/support/accountbilling.html

Grimmoth: what service are you using?

Thanks!

We have made some more corrections to the applications. Please try clearing your browser cache and removing all cookies to see if that helps.

If it does not, please continue to report errors in this thread.

Thanks!

Bigmig: could you try contacting the Billing department for assistance if it seems that the payment was sent to us but the character is still locked?

Alyesia: If you are getting payment rejections, you will need to contact the Billing department as well to determine why you are getting them and what can be done to correct it.

Billing contact information can be found here: http://www.wow-europe.com/en/support/accountbilling.html

Everyone else: Please remember to include the stage of the process where you encounter an error. That will help a lot for us to track down the exact issue and get it resolved.

Thanks!

There are many reasons a payment could be rejected. It could be on our end and if so, we can correct it. It could be that your bank thinks the request is fradulent. It could be several different reasons. In order to determine which of these many reasons it is and what needs to be done about it, you should contact the Billing department because they'll have access to the highly sensitive information on your payment requests and their status.

Thanks!

Bloodyhabeeb: First, please don't post your WoW Account name on the forums. That's just a bad idea. Secondly, we're working to clear out the issue with characters stuck between realms because you're unable to finalize the process through Account Management.

Thanks!

Bigmig, I will escalate your issue to see what we can do. In the meantime, you may want to try to contact us via the Billing department and explain the history to them as they may can provide you with quicker assistance while we work out the error with the application on our side.

Everyone: We have made further modifications to the applications over the weekend. Could you pelase try clearing your browser cache and cookies and try to access the services again? If the errors still occur, please let me know. Also, please provide all of the information requested in the first post (I'm reposting it below as well). Please understand that the reason I'm requesting this information is so we can check it against our logs and determine exactly what is going on when we're unable to reproduce the error on our own machines. I understand that the issue is generally not related to a browser or a pop-up blocker (though NoScript sometimes doesn't play as nicely as it should). Also, any payment rejections will need to be directed to the Billing department as that is a completely different series of issues that may or may not be related to the generic "there's been an error" issues so many of you are seeing. As the Billing department can determine where the payment rejection occured and why, they are the best ones to contact for assistance with payment rejections.

Browser you're using (include version)
Any add-ons/pop-up blockers/ad blockers you're running with the browser
Name of a character and realm on the affected account
If you have merged the account to Battle.net yet
Service with the error
Step where the error occurs
Error message received

Thanks!

Overall, the primary issues seem to be resolved. I will close this thread now.
